Business Unit: Blackstone Credit & Insurance (“BXCI”) Job Title: Vice President Location: London Job Description: BXCI is seeking an experienced, motivated mid-level professional to join the Perpetual Fund Solutions (“PFS”) team. The role will be based in London and work directly to support the growth of BXCI’s perpetual funds, with a specific focus on European private credit. The Vice President role will primarily entail executing investor marketing, communications and diligence, and developing effective strategies to support product launches and drive fundraising engagement. This will be alongside supporting broader business development efforts in Europe. The individual will work closely with the BXCI team and the broader Blackstone organization, including the senior PFS team, portfolio management, Private Wealth Solutions and the Blackstone External Relations team. The main areas of responsibility for the role include: Marketing Materials & Investor Communications: creating, developing and maintaining marketing content including investor presentations, regular commentary, fact cards and all external communications that support fundraising efforts. Investor Due Diligence: project management and execution of investor diligence, such as due diligence questionnaires, drafting responses to investor queries, managing relevant analyses and providing input on distributor/investor negotiations to support onboarding efforts. Marketing & Fundraising Strategy: working closely with Private Wealth Solutions to develop effective marketing strategies to support product launches and drive engagement (across marketing content, events, press related communications, multi-media content). Product Expertise: working with portfolio management to establish and build messaging on portfolio, performance, market environment and product positioning; with ability to draft written responses and speak directly with prospective and existing investors; alongside generating new ideas for content opportunities. Business Development Support: assist in execution of strategic projects (internal and external) and broader business development initiatives to drive fundraising in existing and new products. The successful candidate should have: 6-7+ years of prior experience in alternative investments, investor relations, investment banking or investment consulting; preferably with private credit background or experience. Strategic thinker who can produce creative, compelling, detailed marketing materials. The ability to interpret and present complex investment concepts in an easily digestible manner.
