Job Purpose Reporting to the Head of Factory Operations, the Production Manager will be an energetic and visible leader with responsibility for overseeing the assembly and electrical production processes within our Monkstown facility. The role includes managing teams, ensuring health and safety compliance, maintaining production schedules, and meeting quality standards. This position plays a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products. About The Role Responsibilities Safety: Ensure full compliance with health and safety policies & procedures across the Assembly floor. Promote a positive culture of safety, conducting regular safety walks and ensuring the Home Safe Everyday message is at the forefront of everyone in the team Ensure any H&S investigations are concluded in a timely manner with appropriate corrective actions to eliminate reoccurrence. Participate in the refinement and implementation of Assembly Risk Assessments and Method Statements Ensure the Assembly teams are maintaining the relevant 6S standards throughout the Assembly area. People: Manage team performance, providing coaching, feedback, and development opportunities. Carry out performance appraisals and objective setting in line with the overall company objectives and strategy. Resolve personnel issues and manage workforce capacity, including recruitment and training. Foster a collaborative work environment that encourages communication and continuous improvement. Delivery: Allocate resources efficiently to ensure optimal production output while minimising downtime to ensure the Assembly function meets the production schedule Lead and motivate the team to achieve high levels of productivity and engagement. Monitor the assembly and electrical production processes, identifying and addressing bottlenecks or inefficiencies. Monitor, communicate and improve department KPIs around Safety, Quality and Schedule, meeting schedule and quality expectations while ensuring the best working practices are maintained. Create and execute daily, weekly, monthly and annual production schedules. Represent the assembly function in the various governance meetings held within the business Monitoring productivity rates, standards and quality control. Proactively engage with the relevant departments to ensure Assembly output and on time delivery is achieved Attend daily factory board meetings, prioritise, and lead urgent actions. Quality: Ensure all products meet or exceed company quality standards and customer expectations. Manage all non-conformances from assembly, ensuring appropriate root cause, corrective actions are in place and rolled out to the team Identify areas for process improvement to enhance product quality and reduce defects. Other: To adhere to CDE policy and practice. To carry out any other duties within reason and capability associated with this role. Required Criteria 4 years experience in a factory environment Minimum 2 years experience in a factory supervisory role 2 years experience in a stores function Strong knowledge of ERP software including shop order management, inventory understanding and shop floor clocking Proven organisational skills with the ability to effectively plan and organise the workload of a large assembly team Good interpersonal skills Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team Attentive to detail Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Dependable and reliable Enthusiastic, energetic self-starter able to work on own initiative Willingness to develop and adapt to new situations Team Player Clearance to work in UK Desired Criteria Experience with lean manufacturing techniques Working knowledge of TeamCentre Skills Needed About The Company WE ARE CDE.
