Trade Sales Executive – Counter Sales

Up to £30,000 basic, Profit Share Scheme, Pension
Monday to Friday, 8AM to 5PM

What you can expect from this role:
As a trade counter and sales executive you will work alongside the store team, collaboratively supporting the Branch Manager, in delivering a sustainable and profitable sales growth for the company. A positive and motivated approach will be key when contributing to the branch targets, driving innovative yet effective sales with the company’s wide range of products.
The Salford branch is a thriving, successful branch and plays a pivotal role within the local community. Their customer base is made up of mainly builders and trades people who hold accounts and maintain repeat business. A key part of your role will be to identify potential new customers, establish positive relationships and open customer accounts regularly.
Further to this you will be hands on at times and sharing responsibilities within a small team so you must be open to learning new things and be looking for variety in your role as you will also get involved with supporting other areas of the operation in and outside the branch which include stock, warehouse, account management, phone enquiries and deliveries.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for individuals who possess strong sales experience, ideally within a trade or retail background, evidencing excellent customer service and competence in the delivery of sales targets.
- Proven experience in a trade counter, retail, internal sales or sales admin role within a trade, merchant or retail business.
- Passion for developing relationships with new and existing customers.
- Ability to provide high levels of customer service to ensure brand loyalty and repeat spend custom.
