The Events Project Officer Opportunity: Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will play a key role in managing a complex programme of activities with multiple elements. You will be responsible for driving projects forward to achieve the key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliverables outlined in the Business Plan. This involves working closely with colleagues, engaging with leadership groups, collaborating with other programmes, and liaising with industry stakeholders to build consensus on priorities and interpret these into tangible outputs such as learning development, employer engagement, training delivery, and content management. Key Responsibilities: + Planning and arranging the training activities schedule, including devising subject choices, arranging all logistics, venue liaison (if relevant), processing bookings and liaising and booking the trainer + Supporting the Senior Project Manager by creating timelines for the various programmes of activity and developing relationships with the various clients + Working with the Senior Project Manager to manage costs and ensure delivery on budget + Tracking the progress and activity of individuals and companies that have engaged with the various training programmes + Developing ways in which individuals can continue their learning journey + Writing reports, meeting preparation, taking meeting notes and following up on actions, diary management and other administrative duties + Supporting the Project delivery team with the preparation of professional documents, power point presentations and other materials + With the support of the Marketing team, promote the various training activities for each project + Acting as a source of customer support for the School membership + Attending training activities where necessary to support the trainers + Other tasks as instructed which support the projects or business About you: + Experience of organising both online and face-to-face events + 3+ years working in a fast-moving commercial marketing and events environment + Sound project management skills and experience of managing projects to completion + Able to engage meaningfully with colleagues and stakeholders + Good understanding and use of website content (WordPress) and email marketing platforms + Hold a proactive approach - a “can do” attitude and proven ability to make things happen + Passionate about sustainability + An understanding of the Construction Industry is desirable but not essential + Line management experience is a bonus + Experience in the development of learning courses and materials is advantageous Sounds like a good fit?
