ESG REC is recruiting a Senior Principal Sustainable Transport Infrastructure to advise international developers on decarbonising transport systems, from design to operations. In this role, you’ll help create more sustainable and resilient infrastructure for projects across the globe. The Role: You’ll lead and contribute to projects focused on reducing carbon emissions in road transport and other infrastructure types (e.g., rail, airports, ports). You’ll support business development, deliver technical proposals, and stay updated on industry trends and policies. Key Responsibilities: - Lead decarbonisation projects across transport infrastructure, focusing on sustainable design and operations. - Contribute to technical proposals and wider transport-related projects. - Support business development by leveraging your industry knowledge and network. - Stay informed on sector developments, trends, and regulations. Skills and Experience: - Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or related fields). - Strong background in sustainable infrastructure, especially in road transport. - Knowledge of low-carbon technologies, energy efficiency, and sustainable materials. - Familiarity with national and international policies on infrastructure decarbonisation. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Strong time management and ability to manage multiple projects. Desirable: - Industry contacts and ability to build client relationships. - Experience leading transport infrastructure projects and technical proposals. - Skills in sustainability modelling and risk assessment. - Experience in climate resilience planning. - Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
