What you will be doing as the Grid Electrical Engineer: You’ll play a critical role in delivering large-scale green energy solutions. Key responsibilities include: Managing grid connection and HV workstreams to ensure timely and safe project delivery. Managing all electrical and control system interfaces between National Grid, the balance of the plant contractor, and the supply contract. Driving grid compliance to meet operational milestones and ensure project success. Supervising installation works, system testing, and commissioning. Supporting the development of future projects and assisting with technical due diligence. What you’ll need to apply for the Grid Electrical Engineer position: A degree in electrical engineering. Experience with HV, ideally 132kV and 275kV. Experience in contractor management. Renewable energy experience is an advantage. Your remuneration package: Competitive salary based on experience, 25 holidays, plus bank holidays, 6% pension contribution, bonus up to 20%, health insurance, death in service at three times salary.
