Assistant Site Manager – 200 Unit Part RC Frame, Part Traditional Build Affordable Housing Project – West London

We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Site Manager to join the team on an exciting new project: a 200-unit affordable housing apartment scheme in West London spread across multiple blocks, some of which being 7 story RC Frame.

About the Role:
As Assistant Site Manager, you will work closely with the Site Manager and Project Manager to oversee all aspects of the construction process, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the day-to-day management of the site team, including subcontractors.
- Monitoring progress against the programme and identifying potential delays.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting to the Site Manager.
- Assisting with procurement and material management.
- Quality control checks and inspections.
- Liaising with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Supporting the Site Manager in managing budgets and resources.
- Assisting in the preparation of method statements and risk assessments.
About You:
- Proven experience as an Assistant Site Manager on similar-sized projects, preferably in the affordable housing sector.
- A thorough understanding of traditional and RC frame construction methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- SMSTS certification, CSCS card, First Aid
