Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Buyer (Quantity Surveyor), you will:

Provide expert procurement services for sub-contractors and materials across:

Manage and optimise supply chain performance, fostering efficiency and continuous improvement.

Support regional and group-wide procurement goals, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and innovation.
Experience & Skills
To excel in this role, you will bring:

Construction Knowledge: A thorough understanding of work practices from pre-construction through project delivery.

Safety and Sustainability Awareness: Strong knowledge of safety considerations and a commitment to sustainable procurement practices.

Technical Proficiency:

Good working knowledge of NEC contracts and Primavera P6 software.

Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio, MS Project).

Industry Connections: A solid network and relationships within the supply chain, particularly in the rail sector.

Professional Development: Actively working towards CIPS certification.

Time Management: Excellent organisational skills to manage competing priorities.
