The Role We’re looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead procurement operations and deliver cost-effective, timely, and sustainable supply chain solutions. You’ll collaborate across departments to optimise material flow, manage supplier relationships, and develop a high-performing purchasing team to achieve business goals. Must have minimum of 10 years Management experience

Key Responsibilities

Supplier Management: Negotiate contracts and pricing, evaluate supplier performance, and build strong partnerships to achieve cost savings and maintain quality standards.
Procurement Excellence: Source, evaluate, and select suppliers while ensuring continuous supply and minimizing excess inventory.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Buyers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Process Improvement: Drive lean processes and continuous improvement initiatives across the purchasing department.
KPI Development: Develop and monitor departmental KPIs to measure and improve performance.
Sustainability Commitment: Support the company’s environmental management goals, focusing on “Supply Chain Greening.”

Requirements

Degree qualification and significant senior-level experience in electronics manufacturing procurement.
CIPS Level 6: Professional Diploma in Procurement and Supply (essential).
At least 10 years of management experience with a proven track record of team leadership and achieving cost savings.
Advanced knowledge of ERP and MRP tools.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proven experience implementing lean procurement processes.
Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles, with a commitment to sustainability.
