As they embark on a massive period of growth, we have a unique opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Human Resources Manager to join them and help shape the future of our business. Key Responsibilities

HR Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior management to create and implement HR strategies that align with our business objectives and support our journey towards B Corp accreditation.
Recruitment & Onboarding: Lead the recruitment process, ensuring we attract top talent during this period of growth, and deliver a seamless onboarding experience for new employees.
Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to staff, handling queries and resolving employee relations issues in line with our values as a family business.
Performance Management: Develop and manage performance appraisals, ensuring a focus on continuous improvement and career development for our employees.
Training & Development: Create and deliver training programs that support the development of staff, closing skills gaps and promoting engagement.
Payroll & Benefits Management: Oversee payroll processes and employee benefits, ensuring accurate administration and fostering a culture of fairness and transparency.
Workforce Planning: Support the business in workforce planning, ensuring we have the right resources in place to manage our growth and future needs.
Culture & Engagement: Lead initiatives to build and sustain a positive, inclusive workplace culture that reflects the values of a family business.
HR Reporting: Provide HR metrics and reports to senior management, supporting data-driven decision-making and the company’s broader growth objectives.

Key Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience, ideally within the food, wholesale, or FMCG sectors.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of Scottish and UK employment law, compliance standards, and HR best practices.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, with experience in managing HR functions during periods of growth.
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and act as a trusted advisor at all levels of the business.
Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to solving complex HR challenges, with a focus on finding solutions that align with both employee needs and business goals.
CIPD Qualification: CIPD of any level is highly desirable.
IT Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR software systems.
