First People Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading civil engineering contractor committed to delivering innovative and sustainable infrastructure solutions across a range of projects, including substations, highways, bridges, tunnels, and rail station infrastructure.

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer or Senior Site Engineer to join a fast-paced and dynamic civils project environment. You will be integral in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and monitor daily construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality standards. Interpret and implement technical drawings and specifications, delivering projects according to design plans and timelines. Set out and survey works on-site, managing the work of subcontractors and engineers as needed. Maintain accurate records of all site activities, including daily diaries and documentation. Order materials and manage site logistics, assisting in weekly site planning and Risk Assessments.Qualifications & Experience:

Degree, HNC, or HND in Civil Engineering. Proven experience as a Site Engineer or Senior Site Engineer, with strong setting out skills and a solid understanding of surveying principles. Ability to accurately interpret contract drawings and specifications. Experience managing on-site dimensional control and supervising labour, plant, materials, and subcontractors. Demonstrated expertise in maintaining detailed progress and quality control records. Familiarity with weekly planning for site work, including managing associated documentation like Inspection Test Plans and Work Package Plans.What's On Offer:
