What you will be doing
To administer and coordinate local HR processes and tasks for employee lifecycle activities and contributes to a People Services operation which creates an outstanding employee experience.
- Carry out the end-to-end lifecycle of local HR processes including letters of compliance requests, knowledge base administration, updates of local HR policies and procedures and exit interviews.
- Manage queries triaged from the EMEA People Services and Operations team to the local HR inbox, responding to Tier 1 queries in a timely, efficient manner while retaining a high level of customer service.
- To co-ordinate Employee Relations and Centre of Expertise queries including outsourced provider queries as appropriate to the HR specialists to help with a timely and effective resolution.
- Carry out HR invoice processing which enables suppliers to be paid in a timely manner
- To undertake administrative tasks supporting the following:
- the TUPE process including creating data sets for transfers to ensure accurate information is provided
- contingent workers process
- compliance letters
- DSAR requests
- To source information for tenders from internal stakeholders to contribute to bid proposals.
- Complete employee vetting checks in accordance with policy and manage other vetting portals as appropriate
- To liaise with the local Fleet Manager to ensure that new hires have the appropriate vehicle/car allowance in place
- Is responsible for work force administration tasks, collaborating with all stakeholders to ensure a positive employee experience. Remains responsible for triaged work force administration tasks through to completion. Engages in and drives overall continuous improvement processes (e.g., to reduce inquiry volume and improve service) and updates local SOPs as processes evolve and knowledge is gained.
- Supports with the local HR activities of the worker onboarding vision and strategy, which enables an inclusive and positive worker experience through the initiation of pre-onboarding activities (i.e. provisioning, logistics, organisational) that enables a unique onboarding (i.e., orientation and post onboarding follow-up activities).
You will ideally have
- Previous experience of working within a demanding People function
- Excellent knowledge of UK onboarding processes, workforce administration processes, HR policies and procedures
- Strong understanding of the full employee life cycle
- Good working knowledge of HR practices (recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, training, talent management, etc)
- Good knowledge of employment legislation and regulations
- Good knowledge of HR systems
- Ability to work with tact, diplomacy and a high level of confidentiality
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to take ownership and follow through on tasks and activities
- Customer focused, a “can-do” attitude, independent and ability to work with initiative, able to recognise and resolve recurring issues independently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and high professional standards for customer service and work quality
- Team player and willingness to collaborate and share best practice
