The Role 1GLOBAL Compliance is seeking an experienced Account Director with a background in Financial Services to join our team in London. As an Account Director, you will be at the forefront of managing and nurturing relationships with our most important Investment Banking clients. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing a strategic portfolio, selling additional products and services, and driving revenue growth while minimising churn. What you will do: Work with some of the world’s largest investment banking firms on a global basis Take a leadership role in all commercial & contractual activity and ensure an excellent customer-centric experience Effectively articulate 1GLOBAL’s strategic direction and product roadmap to build active engagement and long-term commitment from customers. Build a network of contacts, at all levels, to create a knowledge and understanding of your customers’ business that allows you to add value and become a trusted and valued partner Deliver sustainable revenue and margin growth by achieving and exceeding company targets for your nominated accounts, while identifying and qualifying short-term up-selling sales opportunities to deliver immediate revenue Ensure that all reporting requirements are proactively kept up to date including account development plans for all renewal and growth opportunities Build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders across all divisions of the 1GLOBAL team globally Ensure timely and accurate record keeping in Salesforce Requirements What you will bring: A practical understanding of the difference between Account Director and Account Management responsibilities Experience of working with Tier 1 Financial Institution customers globally in the technology (ideally RegTech) market Demonstrable record of over-achievement in an account management role working with Tier 1 Financial Services customers Proven ability to develop and maintain an effective network of contacts and build relationships at all levels of the customers using a structured methodology Know what it takes to be part of a rapidly expanding business as it extends and transforms its product portfolio and market reach Ability to motivate and inspire internal resources to deliver for our customers Highly effective written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Teams, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and Salesforce Strong commercial acumen and business understanding enabling achievement of profitable growth and retention results.
