Requisition ID: 55593 Position Type: FT Permanent Workplace Arrangement: About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Operative in our Kerry Team in Coleraine, Co. Londonderry. It is a full-time, permanent position. Working on a 3-week rotating shift pattern of 12-hour day and night shifts (7am-7pm/7pm to 7am) you will work an average of 39.16 hours per week. (Example: week 1 – 3 night shifts, week 2 – 2 day shifts, 2 night shifts, week 3 – 3 day shifts). Where will you work? Kerry Coleraine is the largest processed cheese manufacturer in the UK. We manufacture individually wrapped slices of cheese for the retail trade and cheese slices for catering and fast-food sectors. What will you do? As a Production Operative , you will work within the production area, following the instructions of the Shift Manager. You will receive training to operate in various parts of the production site. By adhering to Health and Safety procedures, you will help protect your safety and that of your teammates. What do you need to be successful? Experience in food production, manufacturing or warehouse environment would be an advantage, but a ‘can-do’ attitude is more important is a as full training will be given. Ability to communicate effectively in English. Computer literacy and ability to log in and interpret production data. Being able to work in a team and on your own.
