You will lead key initiatives that optimise procurement practices, elevate supplier relationships, and deliver measurable value across the business. Reporting to the regional procurement lead, you will oversee significant spend in key categories and be responsible for shaping the procurement landscape to achieve strategic business goals. Key Responsibilities: Policy & Compliance: Establish and enforce best-in-class procurement policies, ensuring alignment with organisational and regulatory standards. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external partners to drive strategic initiatives and foster alignment with organisational priorities. Performance Optimisation: Develop and monitor procurement performance metrics, implementing innovative improvements to deliver excellence. Risk Management: Lead proactive risk identification and mitigation strategies, ensuring robust supplier evaluation and continuity plans. Source-to-Pay Leadership: Oversee and continuously refine the entire Source-to-Pay (S2P) process, ensuring it operates at an optimal level of efficiency and effectiveness. Sourcing Framework Leadership: Own the organisation’s sourcing guidelines, embedding excellence in fairness, transparency, and value-driven procurement practices. Operational Excellence: Streamline procurement operations, including supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, and invoice processing, to achieve superior efficiency and effectiveness. Productivity Governance: Drive regional productivity initiatives, setting ambitious efficiency targets and collaborating with global teams to accelerate progress. Tools and Systems Stewardship: Lead the adoption, optimisation, and governance of procurement tools and systems to ensure best-in-class functionality, user training, and data integrity. Sustainability Leadership: Act as the champion for sustainable procurement, providing expert guidance to ensure long-term environmental and social value. Transformation Leadership: Spearhead regional procurement transformation projects to embed innovative solutions and elevate procurement practices across the business. Qualifications and Experience: Essential: Demonstrated success in leading procurement categories at a regional or global level within an international organisation. Expertise in driving excellence in a complex, multicultural environment, with a track record of delivering transformative outcomes. Strong leadership and influence skills, with the ability to foster collaboration and inspire cross-functional teams. Analytical expertise and a proven ability to balance operational demands with long-term strategic vision. Advanced proficiency in tools such as Excel and PowerPoint, with a focus on data-driven decision-making. Commitment to regular presence in the office and availability to travel to suppliers and sites as needed. Desirable: Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience. Proficiency in an additional language. Experience in matrix procurement organisations, particularly in driving excellence initiatives.
