Job Details Office Location: Westgate, London Hybrid: 2 days per week in the office As a Consumer Insight Director, you will help our clients turn purchase and consumption behaviour into competitive advantages for leading grocery, retail and FMCG brands through continuous monitoring, advanced analytics and delivering tailored solutions. Role Purpose: Own and develop medium/large client relationships whilst being an inspiring mentor for those around you. Key deliverables: Deliver larger client briefs/presentations with impact consistently demonstrating the value of your expertise to clients. Lead regular service reviews and ensure opportunities and/or concerns identified are actioned. Ownership and management of the commercial targets, retention, and client satisfaction in your portfolio. Management of commercial activity such as forecasting and pipeline generation, ensuring clarity on commercial momentum and any interventions required. Lead the renewal process for small to medium-sized clients and support your Strategic Insight Director or Business Unit Director in larger renewals. Show a deep knowledge of the full range of our capabilities and be sought out as an expert by team members and clients alike. Demonstrate the ability and confidence to take client projects that draw on multiple data sources and create compelling deliveries for your client. Establish strong mid-senior client relationships, working to "Trusted Advisor" status. Contribute to the success of the business beyond your immediate team through divisional or business-wide initiatives. Act as an aspirational mentor to more junior team members, helping them to hone their client, commercial and insight skills. Support the team in the implementation of their personal development plans and input in biannual performance reviews. Monitor and support weekly workload planning of the individuals within your team. Own your own development by maintaining a live dialogue with your line manager and seeking out training that meets your needs. Create client annual account plans for your area of responsibility and lead in their implementation. Develop a reputation as a subject matter expert on your client(s) categories. Person Specification: Energy and ambition to continuously develop our reputation with our clients and deliver positive commercial outcomes. Skills to extract, build and present compelling stories from behavioural data in response to strategic client questions. Proven track record of building deep client relationships. Capable of prioritising and balancing focus between short term needs and longer-term objectives. Experience of planning and delivering against commercial targets. Attention to detail to support robust and proactive commercial management. Ability to act as an inspiring coach/mentor.
