The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Town Planner with a proven background working across a range of project types and looking to take the lead on a diverse portfolio moving forward. This UK-based consulting firm is a leader in providing strategic advice and support across various sectors, including residential, commercial, education, healthcare, renewables, and more. They specialise in land acquisition, development planning, and navigating regulatory frameworks, working with a broad range of clients, from local councils to private developers. Their multidisciplinary team combines expertise in planning, environmental considerations, and economic impact, guiding projects from early concept through to planning consent. Known for their collaborative approach, they focus on achieving sustainable, commercially viable outcomes across diverse industry landscapes. Role & Responsibilities Lead and expand the established Planning team, providing mentorship and guidance to drive growth. Take charge of client relations, managing current client instructions and developing new business opportunities. Oversee team workloads, ensuring standards are consistently met and fostering professional development. Manage office profitability, including client accounts, budgeting, and income projections. Identify and secure growth opportunities in emerging sectors. Contribute to the overall business strategy, working closely with senior leadership. Report directly to the Board of Directors and Managing Director, ensuring alignment with company goals. Required Skills & Experience Chartered Town Planner (MRTPI). Experience working at a senior level. Experience working across a range of project types across residential, non-residential, and renewables. Full UK Driving Licence.
