The role As the Head of Sales , you will drive sales growth, shape strategy, and build a high-performing team across multiple markets. You’ll leverage your experience in hospitality and rooms division sales to create and execute sales strategies that deliver results. In this role, you will be responsible for: Sales Leadership: Lead rooms division sales, driving engagement and proactive retention strategies. Leverage success metrics to track and report on team performance. Strategy & Planning: Define and lead the direction, strategy, budgeting, and headcount planning for the sales function. Manage OKRs with clear milestones and timelines. Team Leadership & Development: Mentor and coach your team, creating opportunities for growth while ensuring they meet key performance targets. Actively participate in recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes. Communication & Collaboration: Inspire and align the team by clearly articulating strategy and vision. Act as a trusted advisor to team leaders, facilitating cross-functional collaboration to tackle complex challenges. Industry & Domain Expertise: Apply in-depth knowledge of the industry and closely related areas to guide sales teams towards success. Our 5-star candidate has: 3+ years of proven experience leading a high-performing sales or commercial team within the lodging or hotel industry. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and trends. Proficiency with CRM software and experience in adopting and rolling out new tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Fluency in English, plus at least one local language to a professional competency. Nice to have: Experience representing both larger, known hotel chains and smaller brands to build awareness. Experience managing and motivating a remote team across diverse cultural boundaries.
