Your new team You will be part of the global market unit Ramboll Transport and take the leading role as our Innovation, Digitalization and Technology Director. In this role you are responsible for the strategic development and leadership of innovation and digital transformation within Ramboll Transport across our Country Market Units. You will build and lead the global Innovation, Digitalization and Technology (IDT) team, and as a member of the Transport Leadership Team, you will report to the Managing Director of Transport. Your new role The role of the IDT Director is to drive digitalisation, innovation, and scaling of digital solutions & products across the Transport Market. You will be expected to increase digital maturity of Transport and raise the profile of Ramboll in the industry through thought leadership, in technical forums, conference participation and industry partnerships for instance. You will help shape the core business through digital delivery, automation and vendor partnerships helping to bring new services and products to our clients. You will have a double reporting line into Ramboll Tech, a newly founded function within Ramboll responsible for driving the global digital transformation agenda for Ramboll, including work on data, AI, digital products, and shaping our workforce of the future. Strategic areas of responsibility The IDT Director is a strategic role that helps tie together design excellence, digital delivery and digitalisation. The key purpose is to enable and ensure that Transport is in the forefront of digitalisation and innovation with regards to how we work and what we deliver aligning with our sustainable goals. The IDT Director will play a key role in defining our digitalisation strategy for the Transport market and will be accountable for implementation and progress. Operational areas of responsibility To be the go-to person in terms of digitalisation in Transport. This includes but is not limited to: Staying informed about industry trends, client needs, new technologies, start-ups, competitors etc. Keeping track of what is going on in terms of digitalisation across Transport by staying in contact with key stakeholders. Providing Thought Leadership, speaking at conferences, seminars, client meetings and other places of relevance for the market to associate the Ramboll brand with digitalisation. Managing the innovation and technology portfolios of Ramboll Transport. This includes driving decision making related to innovation initiatives, digital products as well as software. To assume responsibility for our task forces and drive 3 work streams focusing on: How we work : This is intended to drive how we work with digital solutions and products like computational Design, Building Information Modelling, and Automation. We aim to align how we work across countries, automate repetitive processes, improve maturity and quality when using BIM. Excellent communication skills and a commercial mindset. Strong relationship builder and networker.
