Manage relationships with local and international tax authorities. Monitor changes in tax regulations and assess their impact on the company. Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies. Provide tax expertise to other departments within the company. Have a business-friendly approach, fostering a collaborative and productive environment. Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns. Lead and participate in tax audits and negotiations. The Successful Applicant A successful Tax Manager should have: A degree in Accounting or Finance. Professional certification in tax preferred (e.g. CTA). Proven experience in a tax manager or similar role. Strong knowledge of UK tax law and regulations in a regulated environment. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in tax software and accounting systems. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. What's on Offer An estimated basic salary range of £60,000 - £70,000 per year, based on industry standards and experience.
