We are looking for a Sr. Localization Program Manager to lead the localization quality and publishing process to be efficient and scalable within Prime Video. You will lead a strategic program by coordinating across product, operations, localization vendors, and business stakeholders to drive efficiency and simplification for global customers. In this role, you will be committed to expanding our strategy and definition for global localization of content within Prime Video; employing alignment with stakeholders and driving problem solving for inefficiencies in current workflows. You will add scalable measurement and quality tracking across the digital supply chain that provides transparency and areas of opportunity across the lifecycle of localization assets. The successful candidate will need to be entrepreneurial, wear many hats, and work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and highly collaborative environment. Key job responsibilities Be the subject matter expert for your assigned program; partnering with localization stakeholders and regions to evolve the workflows Ensure a consistent global experience through application and ongoing iteration of our localization strategies Define program value propositions, advantages, and limitations Be the liaison between various technical, business, and development teams to drive both proactive and reactive customer experiences solutions Own and support global cross-team coordination, project management, and be able to swiftly prioritize and multi-task based on severity level and strong business judgement Contribute to development of localization standards, systems, and best practices Have a passion for continuously improving the customer experience Possess flexibility and have a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced and highly ambiguous work environment BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Experience with localization program or project management within digital supply chain Experience working with localization vendors, production teams and dubbing workflows Knowledge and familiarity with DAM (digital asset management) systems and familiar with digital video file formats including but not limited to the following: digital master files, Mezz (Mezzanine) files, and compressed deliverables Have deep technical ability, familiarity with industry digital delivery standards, specifications, and delivery formats with the capacity to acquire new technology concepts quickly Experience managing projects across cross-function teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules Experience managing, analyzing, presenting, and communicating relevant results to senior management PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience working directly with engineering teams in the digital supply chain Deep understanding and familiarity of componentized based packages such as MDDF (MovieLabs Digital Distribution Framework), including identification of content using EIDR (Entertainment ID Registry), delivery of content metadata using MEC (Media Entertainment Core Metadata) and MMC (Media Manifest Core), and delivery of availability metadata using EMA Avails Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, design, and marketing/business counterparts to deliver online products/services Advanced ability to draw insights from data and clearly communicate them (verbal/written) to stakeholders and executives as required Be self-driven and able to deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete or imperfect data Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
