Our Environmental Enforcement Team Leader work within Community Safety/Public Protection environment. You will be working as part of a team to:

You are an experienced manager/team leader who will lead the Environmental Enforcement Team, a group of dedicated officers committed to keeping Southwark’s streets clean and safe.
Your role will be pivotal in tackling a variety of environmental crimes, including fly-tipping, graffiti, and illegal waste management.
Fly-tipping, in particular, has risen across the borough, and a significant portion of the team's resources is dedicated to combating this growing problem
As the lead for the team, you have expert knowledge and experience of various enviro-crimes issues and will be responsible for the planning and allocation of resources, setting the direction, and ensuring the team is focused on delivering high-impact, sustainable outcomes.
Your work will help improve the borough’s NI195 graffiti score, coordinate with waste management services, and enhance the effectiveness of our enforcement actions across Regulatory Services.

You will be expected to provide a high standard of work to the role.
