The Role As Installation Director, you will spearhead the design, planning, and execution of solar PV installations across residential and commercial projects. You will lead a team of skilled professionals and subcontractors, driving operational excellence while ensuring adherence to UK regulations and standards. Responsibilities- Project Leadership:
- Oversee the design, planning, and execution of solar PV installations for residential and commercial projects.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Team Management:
- Lead and manage a team of installers, PV roofers, and subcontractors.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Operational Efficiency:
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and ensure compliance with UK regulations.
- Collaborate with the technical support team to address installation challenges proactively and innovate solutions.
- Technology and Innovation:
- Stay abreast of the latest solar PV technologies and provide feedback to manufacturers to drive innovation.
- Champion the adoption of new tools and processes to enhance installation outcomes.
Qualifications- Proven experience managing residential and commercial solar PV projects.
- Deep understanding of solar PV technologies, including design and implementation.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
- Familiarity with UK certifications such as MCS, HIES, and NAPIT.
- A commitment to safety, quality, and delivering an outstanding customer experience.
