About the role
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Hydrogen and Clean Energy Client Services Manager to join our Client Services team to lead our Hydrogen and Clean Energy business development activity. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in developing and executing business development strategies in the hydrogen industry. You will be responsible for identifying, developing and pre-positioning for new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and securing work. You will also be responsible for supporting the Project Delivery team with client stakeholder management throughout the project lifecycle from concept to completion, providing assurance that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Job Description
• Reporting to the Client Services Director
• Provide valuable input and support to the development of the Hydrogen and Clean Energy and business strategy
• Actively keeping abreast of current industry trends including competitor and client activity. Bringing to the Client Services Director, Vice Presidents and Business Unit Directors attention to any new opportunities, ideas or suggestions that will drive progress in line with the business long term growth strategy
• The candidate will support business growth plans by providing strategic client direction
• Drive the implementation and delivery of the client services pipeline within their respective sector/business unit, to achieve Altrad's long term growth strategy
• Will ensure there is visibility of pipeline opportunities to achieve the long term growth strategy and develop and provide detailed reports to update on progress and activity
• Develop and secure new clients, maintain and grow relationships with existing clients and develop new areas of service to enhance Altrad's offering
• Maintain positive, long-term and productive relationships with clients, creating 'same side of the table' dialogue
• They will work closely with the Client Services Director, Vice Presidents and Business Unit Directors to ensure the highest quality of service is provided to our clients
• Undertake critical negotiations with clients for service contracts and projects
Skills and Qualifications
• 5+ years' experience working in a senior business development, project management or bid management function, with a focus on Hydrogen or Clean Energy.
• Degree qualified or similar (Desirable)
• Outstanding interpersonal skills
• Excellent presenter and confident at communicating at a senior level including facilitation
• Experienced networker and relationship builder
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
