Mentoring and managing your design sub-team (project programming and planning and resources) Bidding, fee preparation and client meetings. Find out what it is like to work at Pick Everard here: Life at PickEverard - Pick Everard About You As a Principal Civil Engineer, you will play a lead role in shaping our offering, as part of a collaborative, talented team. In order to be considered for this role, you must have: A degree or equivalent in civil engineering or a related subject, working towards a professional qualification Experience managing Infrastructure schemes, as well as bespoke projects Good knowledge of industry design software packages Excellent communication skills and a team player with a confident, positive and enthusiastic attitude, able to lead a team to success Ability to con-ordinate and contribute to bid preparation process including client presentation In order to stand out from the crowd, it is desirable for you to have: CEng with post chartered relevant experience or IEng with post incorporated relevant experience Undertaking relevant CPD activities A good understanding of forms of appointment and construction contracts Confident liaising with new and existing clients and an ability to build a good rapport with other parts of our inter-disciplinary practice, and with external design teams Robust problem solving skills, taking accountability for assigned work The ability to lead a sub-team, focused on delivery of high quality design output.
