Join Our Team as a CCTV Operator at Liverpool Street Station.
The Role
Join our dedicated team at Greater Anglia, where you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and security of our customers and colleagues. With access to over 16,000 cameras across our estate—including stations, trains, and body-worn cameras—you'll be at the forefront of maintaining a secure environment. Training will be provided on all bespoke industry systems.
Key Responsibilities:

CCTV Image Management: Download and process all CCTV image activities efficiently and accurately. You will need to upload relevant footage to the appropriate digital relevance system. You will need to interrogate and categorize CCTV data from urgent to non-urgent.

Request Coordination: You will need to be able to communicate effectively to handle internal and external requests for CCTV images from various stakeholders including police agencies and senior management. As part of this role, you will also need to collaborate with fleet management crew for effective organisation and coordinate the return of trains to the depot to collect footage.

Chain of Custody Oversight: Coordinate the chain of custody process for CCTV footage to ensure accountability and transparency.

Standards Implementation: Implement CCTV standards and ensure compliance with data handling requirements.

Anomaly Reporting: Identify and report any anomalies related to camera views to the appropriate department for prompt rectification. It is important to have reactive handling evidence related tasks.

Be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft 365 and outlook application

Be wiling to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (if not already up to date)

Be organised and have the ability to prioritize and self-manage workloads in order of task urgency

It would be helpful to have knowledge of railway rules, regulations and bylaws or a recognised qualification in investigative practice.
