This consultancy is a leading multidisciplinary engineering firm, seeking an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer to join their forward-thinking team. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop electrical designs from concept to completion.
- Producing detailed designs, schematics, and specifications using design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and Dialux/Relux.
- Performing load calculations, lighting designs, and energy analyses to ensure compliance with regulations and project requirements.
- Coordinating with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to align designs with project goals.
- Preparing technical documentation, including reports, schedules, and tender specifications.
- Supporting the delivery of projects within budget and on time.

Keeping up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and technological advancements.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in electrical design, preferably within a consultancy environment.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software, including AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Amtech, and lighting design tools (Dialux/Relux).
- Knowledge of relevant building codes and standards (e.g., BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills for client and stakeholder engagement.
