A leading sustainability consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to join its growing team. This role is ideal for a professional with 7+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, policy development, and sustainability frameworks. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through complex regulatory landscapes, focusing on key frameworks such as the EU Taxonomy , CSRD , and extended producer responsibility. While the position does not require hands-on reporting work, expertise in disclosure requirements and sustainability reporting will be essential. Key Responsibilities Providing strategic advice on regulatory compliance, including disclosure and policy requirements. Navigating and interpreting regulations such as the EU Taxonomy, CSRD, and extended producer responsibility. Leveraging experience in public affairs or related fields to shape and influence sustainability policies. Offering industry-specific insights into taxation, environmental regulations, and policies like REACH. Collaborating with a growing team to deliver high-impact sustainability strategies for clients. Candidate Profile At least 7 years’ experience in sustainability, regulatory affairs, or public policy. Strong expertise in sustainability disclosure requirements and reporting. In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks, particularly CSRD and the EU Taxonomy. Proven ability to shape and influence policy in a professional setting. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a history of advising senior-level clients.
