Gateways Designer Location: Bracknell (BRA01) Our purpose is to make the world more sustainable by building trust in society through innovation. As a Gateways Designer, you will contribute to this by working collaboratively in the project team and designing and implementing medium/large solutions and changes to enable services for our customer that meet their operational needs. We are looking for a Gateways Designer to work on project deliveries taking place within the secure Defence and National Security sector. Your role will involve understanding the business and technical requirements, technically leading projects, and you will be responsible for producing the relevant design collateral (including passing any governance reviews), being hands on during the implementation phase, troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring effective handover to Service, and supporting the project team in its milestone deliverables. Your experience: •Demonstrable architect and design experience in proposing and utilizing technologies from global vendors, including production of quality technical documentation for delivery and solution support. •Strong technical experience in designing and delivering solutions involving secure web and email gateways. Experience and skills in Forcepoint solutions is very desirable. •Demonstrable configuration and troubleshooting skills, and approach to defect resolution. •Solid understanding of project end to end life cycle, including governance gates, from the customer’s business and commercial issues, through initial requirements gathering to Operational Acceptance into Service (AiS). •Able to support project management with any reporting, and to ensure timely project delivery that meets the customers expectation. •Get things done attitude, able to take ownership and responsibility, can build positive working relationships, able to communicate calmly and concisely with multiple stakeholders, willing to share knowledge.
