Your Mission
As Senior/ Principal Electrical Engineer, you will be an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team at the End Client's site, particularly within nuclear facilities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Authoring, developing, and managing Infrastructure Design Substantiation documents.
- Managing design changes and presenting substantiations to safety committees.
- Developing Examination, Inspection, Maintenance & Testing (EIMT) schedules and safety reports.
- Providing guidance to stakeholders and conducting Independent Technical Reviews.
- Applying engineering knowledge to design and maintain engineering processes and systems.
- Justifying civil/structural design modifications in high hazard industries.
- Reviewing technical reports and safety case submissions.
Qualifications Profile
Ideal candidates will possess:
- Expertise in current design standards and practices.
- Theoretical and practical skills across design stages.
- Experience in assessing electrical equipment and specifying systems for HV and LV networks.
- Ability to justify design modifications.
- Familiarity with industrial machinery and multi-discipline projects.
Desirable Attributes
- Experience in high-risk environments.
- Familiarity with safety case development and nuclear industry regulations.
- Relevant degree or equivalent.
- Chartered Engineer status.
- Safety case related training.
