Position: Senior Technical Design Manager – Infrastructure & High-Rise Projects Location: Kent Area Salary: £83,000 + Package

We are currently recruiting for a dynamic and detail-oriented Technical Design Manager to oversee and coordinate technical and design aspects across high-rise and residential projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on large-scale infrastructure projects with a forward-thinking company committed to delivering resilient and sustainable communities.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage design teams, consultants, and subcontractors, ensuring timely and budget-compliant project delivery.
Review and assess designs for compliance with regulations and identify opportunities for value engineering.
Coordinate with commercial and construction teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Ensure compliance with building safety standards and regulations (including the Building Safety Act).
Manage information flow, track progress, and report on key milestones.

Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in managing design for high-rise and residential projects.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and consultants.
In-depth knowledge of construction regulations and building safety.
Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, BIM).
Relevant qualification (HNC/NVQ4 or equivalent) and membership of a professional body (CIOB, RICS, CIAT).
