Arborist SupervisorLocation: StaffordSalary/hourly rate: £15.50 per hourContract type: PermanentWorking hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM About the role As a Contract Supervisor, you will focus on the day-to-day running of the contract, managing the planning and performance of works through area-based teams, ensuring that the required contract specifications are met. You will have responsibility for people management, health & safety conformance, and assisting the Contract Manager as required. You will work closely with both internal teams and clients to ensure smooth operations and the highest standards of performance.
Requirements
- This role will require Level 3 Maintenance (Formally CS 30 / CS 31) and Level 3 Climb Trees and Perform Aerial Rescue (Formally CS 38), Level 2 Operate a Chain Saw from a Rope and Harness (Formally CS 39), Large fall over 380mm and Level 3 Aerial Tree Rigging (Formally CS 41)
- Emergency First Aid at Work + Forestry (EFAW+F) and Windblown Trees certificates are desirable but not necessary, as training can be provided.
- Proven experience as an Arborist
- Full Clean Driving Licence.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with clients and staff at all levels.
- Experience in managing teams and performance.
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety procedures and risk management.
- Ability to train, guide, and mentor others in arb techniques
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
