Area to be covered: West Midlands and South Wales

Remuneration: £40,000 - £50,000 + £8,000-£10,000 commission

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Ceramic Tiles will involve:

Field sales role promoting a distributed range of wall and floor ceramic tiles
Majority of your time will be spent selling into tile fixers/ tiling contractors but also main contractors and regional housebuilders
Responsible for an area achieving circa £2m+, currently tracking on budget
Account management/ development bias role
Inheriting approx. 60+ tile contractor relationships and 10 housebuilder accounts
Project sizes up to £120,000, but typically £20,000
Overseeing some social housing contracts, that don’t require a lot of maintenance/ account management

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Ceramic Tiles with:

Field sales experience with tile associated contractors; tile fixers/ tiling contractors, main contractors or regional housebuilders is preferred
Contacts within tile fixers/ tiling contractors, main contractors or regional housebuilders may be advantageous
Preferably sold tiles or associated products such as tile adhesives, sundries, sanitaryware, bathrooms, KBB etc.
Open to most building products
Must be comfortable with some client entertaining/ overnight stays every few weeks
Highly motivated and able to work on own initiative
Excellent presenter
Smart and presentable in appearance
