We are currently looking for an experienced Operative at our Swains Park plant in Swadlincote, Derbyshire. The site is easily accessible from Coalville, Tamworth, Lichfield, Cannock, Rugeley, Stafford, Burton Upon Trent, Derby, Castle Donnington, Loughborough, Melton Mowbray, Leicester, Lutterworth, Nuneaton, Birmingham, Solihull and the surrounding areas.

Main ResponsibilitiesAs the successful Operative, you will report to the Site Manager and will be responsible for undertaking all site duties safely, understanding CRH and SHE safety. You will also be working in different areas including raw materials, storage, production, despatch and housekeeping.

On a day to day basis, duties and responsibilities of the Operative will include (not exhaustive):

Meeting daily production target requirements
Working on the reporting of data for quality purposes
Moving, loading and unloading products from the plant and vehicles
Meeting customer service requirements in terms of accurate loading and timely vehicle turnaround
Working on the continuous improvement of performance standardsThe Ideal CandidateThe ideal Operative will be able to demonstrate proven experience working within a similar production and despatch environment. Furthermore, if you have experience in any of the following, this would be beneficial in your application.

Good communication skills and good numeracy Holding a mobile plant licence for diesel counterbalance forklift truck Strong communication and team player ability
