Head of Neighbourhood Services WEST LONDON Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (4 days in office required) £450 per day Umbrella

Role Purpose To deliver a value for money neighbourhood and sheltered housing service which builds safe and sustainable communities, provides excellent resident experience, improves satisfaction and enhances the quality of life and opportunity for residents. To lead on the housing management strategy improvement plan and review all policies, processes for housing management and sheltered services, using business intelligence, benchmarking data to deliver transformation to services. To monitor and analysis of statutory KPI’s and LPI’s and setting and monitoring appropriate performance targets to deliver an efficient and streamlined service.

Responsibilities

Responsible for working closely with the Assistant Director, Housing Management to deliver continuous service improvement, transformation and innovation and identification of developmental opportunities. Develop and deliver long term housing strategies, an integrated approach to neighbourhood management and business plans for Neighbourhood Services which enables achievement of corporate plans and targets and against which progress can be clearly measured. A good grasp of the legal and regulatory framework for social landlords and relevant housing legislation. Lead the strategic development of the sheltered housing service and implement the business and service improvement plans to enable achievement of the corporate plan and targets and against which performance can be clearly measured. To work strategically with the various project boards and other senior managers to develop appropriate plans that anticipate and respond to organisational changes and ensure that current and future business needs are reflected in policies and procedures. Deliver a high quality, responsive, multi-functional housing hub and resident connect services, to ensure that customer service standards are met, and customer satisfaction is continuously improved.

Requirements

Educated to at degree level or equivalent experience. Evidence of continuous professional management development courses and housing management experience. Housing Management qualification is desriable. Previous experience working in a housing association or council MUST BE HEAD OF HOUSING FOR ATLEAST 5 YEARS

Contract

Initial 6 month contract with the opportunity to extend Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (4 days in office) PAYE via Umbrella
