Overview
We are hiring a Mechanical Fitter for a contract role focusing on the assembly and fitting of sewage infrastructure as per engineering designs. The work involves challenging environments, including confined spaces, to ensure the precise assembly of stormwater management systems. This role is ideal for experienced professionals in the water or industrial sectors with a valid CSCS card.

Responsibilities

Mechanical Assembly: Assemble and fit 300–400 cast iron pipes to sewage tanks as part of stormwater management systems.

System Integration: Connect components to pumping stations and reinforced concrete boxes (RCBs).

Technical Skills:

Work with nuts, bolts, flanges, and apply correct torque settings.

Interpret and follow P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) for precise assembly.

Challenging Environments: Perform tasks in confined spaces and at heights when required.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with a dedicated team to deliver projects on schedule.
