The Role: Territory Manager – Germany
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Territory Manager to drive sales and strengthen relationships with key accounts in Germany. In this role, you will be the key point of contact for some of the most respected names in retail and sportswear, playing a pivotal role in achieving commercial success and delivering exceptional service.
Reporting to the Director of Sales, you’ll take ownership of a defined territory, working closely with key accounts to implement strategic sales initiatives and achieve ambitious growth targets.
What You'll Do:

Develop and execute tailored sales strategies to drive growth, profitability, and market share in the German market.

Manage the end-to-end sales process, including sell-in, sell-through, assortment planning, and in-season management for key accounts.

Analyse sell-through data, market trends, and customer insights to identify opportunities and develop actionable recommendations.

Build and nurture strong relationships with key accounts, including major buying groups and regional retailers.

Lead impactful sales presentations and participate in one-on-one and group meetings to showcase product offerings.

Monitor and report on sales performance, competitor activity, and emerging market trends.

Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across account services, marketing, logistics, and operations to deliver seamless customer experiences.

Proactively lead joint account planning, focusing on long-term growth objectives and financial targets.

Travel extensively within Germany (50-60% of the time) to build strong relationships and ensure brand visibility.
About You
You are a highly motivated professional with a passion for sales and a track record of building strong customer relationships. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are as analytical as you are personable.
What You’ll Bring:

5+ years of experience in a commercial role, preferably within Key Account Management or the Sporting Goods/Fashion industry.

Demonstrated success in managing relationships with large buying groups or independent retailers.

Fluent in German and English (written and verbal).

Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capabilities to track sales performance and forecast trends.

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.

Highly organised, self-motivated, and results-oriented.

A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally.

Experience with digital accounts and knowledge of activewear or sporting goods industries is a plus.

A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
