Do you have excellent decision-making, reporting and communication skills? If so, our Western Water Recycling team is looking for a Water Recycling Operator in Holdenhurst.
What you'll do Based in Holdenhurst, your role will involve:
- the operation and maintenance of conventional sewage treatment plants and pumping stations to meet quality standards
- running advanced wastewater treatment and sludge process plants
- ensuring compliance with company policy, processes, and procedures
- ensure the health, safety, and welfare of all colleagues, the public and yourself at all times
- working outside of normal working hours, including evenings and weekends.
What you'll need Experience working unsupervised in an industrial or process plant is essential. Electrical or mechanical experience would be desirable. Confined spaces training will be provided.
You will also need:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English, maths and a technical subject
- to be happy working outside in all conditions
- a valid driving licence, ideally with category BE
- to be flexible in your approach to work.
