PSi Talent are recruiting for a permanent Warehouse Supervisor to work for our client, a world leading manufacturing business based in Kettering. Our client has seen fantastic growth and success over the past years making this a truly exciting time to join a fast growing sustainable business. This position is overseeing a team and supporting the delivery of the daily operation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and organisational skills and have a comprehensive understanding of supply chain processes to effectively manage the warehouse team and drive the team to success. Salary: £40-£45,000 depending on experience Hours: 12 hour day shift on a 4 on 4 off basis.

Responsible for maintaining a safe and secure work environment. This includes correcting unsafe acts/conditions, facilitating monthly safety meetings, performing monthly safety inspections, and investigating accidents, as required
Supervises and coordinates the employees and activities of the warehouse function
Maintains direct support to all departments
Facilitates the operation of inbound and outbound shipments of products and materials
Reviews completed drayage tickets and bills of lading for completeness and accuracy prior to distribution
Facilitates shipments of finished product and scrap
Maintains and reports inventory status of finished goods and packaging materials.
Assists the group sales function in forecast comparisons and with customer inquiries and activities and maintains and seeks resolution of customer complaints
Coordinates customer releases and orders with outside warehouse and other plants within the group and assists in procuring transportation for customer and warehouse of finished products
Ensures that all company property is properly maintained
Maintains good housekeeping in the warehouses and related areas
Initiates, reviews, masters, and follows all standard operating procedures for area of responsibility. What you'll need to succeed
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficient in office software including Word, Excel, and Outlook to maintain records and communicate effectively; SAP knowledge would be a huge advantage
Excellent computer literacy to navigate various warehouse management systems.
Knowledge of supply chain processes and logistics management.
Fluent in English, both written and verbal, with strong communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders effectively.
