Role Overview
As a Senior Electrical Design Consultant, you will take ownership of electrical design projects while managing and growing your own team. Operating as an Associate, you’ll lead from the front, providing technical, managerial, and strategic direction to ensure the successful delivery of complex projects.

Technical Expertise:

Oversee the development of innovative electrical design solutions for building services projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and sustainability objectives.

Perform detailed design reviews, providing technical guidance to your team and ensuring quality control throughout all project stages.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement:

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders, representing the company at meetings and networking events.

Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client needs and translating them into tailored design solutions.
Leadership & Team Growth:

Lead, mentor, and grow your own team of engineers, creating a culture of collaboration, learning, and innovation.

Drive recruitment and development initiatives to ensure the division’s continued success.
Commercial & Strategic Management:

Take ownership of tendering processes, including preparation of bids and proposals.

Manage project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met while delivering exceptional results.

Operational Oversight:

About You

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

CIBSE Chartered Engineer status or actively working towards it.

Significant experience in electrical design consultancy, ideally within building services.

A track record of longevity in previous employment, demonstrating commitment and career progression.

Strong technical expertise in electrical design, with a focus on innovative and sustainable solutions.
