Job Title: Sustainability Manager
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Location: Westminster-based, with site visits across London
Projects: £500k-£20m
About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and proactive Sustainability Manager to join our growing construction company. Based in Westminster, you will play a key role in driving sustainability initiatives across our diverse range of projects, valued between £500k and £20m, at various sites throughout London.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement sustainability strategies for projects, ensuring compliance with environmental legislation and industry best practices.
Collaborate with project teams to identify and integrate sustainable practices from planning through to completion.
Monitor and report on sustainability performance metrics, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and carbon footprint.
Provide training and guidance to staff and contractors on sustainable construction practices.
Liaise with stakeholders, including clients, regulatory bodies, and local authorities, to promote sustainability objectives.
Stay updated on emerging sustainability trends, standards, and technologies relevant to the construction industry.What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in sustainability within the construction sector.
A strong understanding of environmental regulations, sustainable building practices, and certifications.
Excellent project management and communication skills.
Ability to work across multiple sites and collaborate with diverse teams.
Relevant qualifications in sustainability, environmental management, or a related field are highly desirable.What We Offer:
