This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious senior Urban Designer to lead and shape our urban design and masterplanning portfolio nationally and internationally, with a particular focus on the Middle East. About the role :
We are looking for a Senior Associate level Urban Designer to join our studio in London. You will act as an ambassador for the Practice, assist the Partners with local office matters, lead and co-ordinate multiple large-scale projects, whilst developing and expanding our national and international client base and leading a team of passionate and talented Urban Design specialists.
What we look for from you:
- 10+ years of professional work experience.
- Riba Part 3 Architect Qualification / ARB registration and possibly CMLI
- Ability and proven experience of leading teams and project delivery.
- Excellent design & design leadership skills of urban design, masterplanning and smaller scale architecture projects.
- Proven experience of working on Middle East projects
- Ability to liaise with external consultants and clients in a proficient and professional manner, nurturing relationships in support of ongoing business development.
- Excellent contacts in the urban design community (nationally and internationally) to support our business generation activities.
- Ability to supervise and advise on staff progress and performance.
- Excellent project management skills, strong leadership and organisation.
- Management and understanding of the financial aspects of the project, including project resourcing, managing project budgets and costs.
