With an impressive track record and recent growth, the company is looking for a Business Development Manager to expand its market presence across the UK and Ireland. Role Overview:
As the Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales, boosting revenue, and supporting the expansion of the sales team. This is a hands-on role that involves managing the sales process from lead generation through to contract signature and collaborating with internal teams to ensure a seamless handover to project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a new sales strategy for long-term growth.
Manage inbound leads from initial inquiry through to contract closure.
Visit prospective clients, present the company’s services, and recommend tailored solutions.
Collaborate with the design team to create solutions that meet customer requirements.
Identify and respond to tender opportunities with successful bids.
Proactively research and pursue new leads within the Commercial & Industrial sector.
Ensure a smooth transition of projects from sales to project delivery.Ideal Candidate Profile:
Strong commercial acumen with a consultative sales style.
Proven experience in the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Solar sector.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage senior-level stakeholders.
Successful track record in managing bids and contracts, ideally up to £3 million.
Familiarity with ISO standards and CRM systems.
