We are currently looking to recruit a Shopper Marketing Manager to join our Commercial team at our head office in Leeds. In this role you will report to the Business Unit Director.

What will the role look like?
As Shopper Marketing Manager you will work with our customers to maximise the value of our shopper investment and ensure that Arla is at the forefront of Shopper Marketing. Within this role you will develop and drive Shopper Marketing plans for Arla’s brands, creating the direction and delivering the most effective mechanisms to convert shoppers into buyers, aligning the shopper marketing Convenience channel strategy to key commercial objectives.
Responsibilities
Some of your key responsibilities in this role will include:

Developing mission-based shopper marketing plans across the Arla portfolio to support the delivery of supplier plans and brand strategies

Tailoring of omni-channel activation plans to ensure retailer distinctiveness

Delivering best in class NPD launches to accelerate Arla’s growth ambitions

Securing internal alignment (category / brand) to drive the shopper agenda and build engagement internally with key stakeholders such as marketing and commercial

Conducting holistic performance reviews of shopper campaigns to influence strategy development and delivery of improved ROI ensuring customer and shopper insights are captured.

Managing shopper marketing budgets to ensure commercially effective delivery of shopper plans, including negotiating the best cost for media and agency fees

Coordinating Brand Planning Days and development of Shopper execution ideas
Who are you?
The ideal candidate will have:

Relevant experience working within manufacturing/FMCG within a marketing or account management discipline.

Demonstrated experience working with brands (activation execution/brand/media experience).

Strong commercial understanding and mindset

Excellent planning skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Innovative thinking
Candidates should demonstrate a passion for shopper marketing and its role within the marketing mix. Integral to this role is personal drive and the ability to work independently demonstrating strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
