Job summary
The Security Vulnerability Manager is responsible for safeguarding the organsation's information systems and assets by overseeing the vulnerability management process, managing penetration testing activities, supporting cyber incident response, providing technical expertise to various teams on cyber issues, supporting security tooling and working proactively to prevent potential threats and improve the organisations cyber security posture.

Job description
The Security Vulnerability Manager will:

Oversee the entire vulnerability management lifecycle, including identification, assessment, prioritisation, remediation, and reporting.

Manage the use of vulnerability management tools and technologies.

Plan, execute, and manage penetration testing activities.

Act as a subject matter expert for a range of security tools and technologies.
Person specification
You will need the following experience:
• Broad technical knowledge of operating systems, software and infrastructure
• Proficiency in networking technologies, network security and network monitoring solutions
• Proficiency in using vulnerability scanning and management tools.
• Critical thinking skills and ability to solve complex problems
