We are looking for a Sustainability Advisor to assist our Head of Sustainability in driving positive environmental and social change, contributing to the advancement of our sustainability strategy.
Our ideal candidate will be passionate about sustainability, have a good understanding of current legislation and sustainable construction practices, with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and develop actionable insights.
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing Kilnbridge’s sustainability agenda
- Assist in raising the profile of sustainability both internally and to external stakeholders
- Identify operational risks or opportunities and collaborate with the central HSQE Team to implement appropriate responses
- Conduct site supervision to oversee and document environmental performance, undertaking regular inspections and audits of construction sites ensuring that documentation reflects the project sustainability requirements and document findings through Notify system.
- Review method statements and technical documents to ensure completeness and adherence to contractual and legal requirements.
- Assist in the production, maintenance, and compliance of environmental project documentation, including identifying significant environmental aspects and impacts.
- Attend meetings and assist the construction team in managing environmental risks Collaborate with project teams to integrate sustainable practices into their operations, supply chains, and business culture.
- Support Kilnbridge Environmental Management System review and the development of processes, procedures, and systems related to environmental and sustainability issues.
- Keep abreast with legislative changes and contribute to ensure compliance throughout the business.
- Promote our volunteering day to other employees.
Requirements
- Degree qualified in an environmental or sustainability related discipline
- Proficient in the use of MS Office applications
- Passionate about sustainability

Salary range: £35K - £45K
