Manager or Associate Director, Energy & Infrastructure Advisor, ExeterJLL's Energy & Infrastructure Advisory (E&IA) team are looking for outstanding candidates, with strong experience managing M&A processes in the UK Energy & Infrastructure Market, to join their Renewable Energy team in Exeter at either Manager or Associate Director level.JLL's E&IA team are market leaders in providing specialist transactional and financial advisory services to developers of and investors in renewable energy assets across a range of technologies including solar PV, wind, hydrogen, energy storage and others in European countries. The team's expertise includes:- M&A: disposal and acquisition of renewable energy assets (projects, portfolios, or platforms)
- Equity capital raising for seed, development and construction capital
- Debt capital raising for senior, junior, mezzanine and HoldCo debt
- PPA advisory to help generators and consumers to secure long-term power purchase contracts
- Strategic consulting covering commercial, financial, strategic advice on renewables
- Valuations and project appraisals including financial modelling, due diligence and valuations

Be part of a dynamic team that values innovation, collaboration, and individual contribution, all while making a significant impact in the rapidly evolving renewable energy landscape.What this job involvesYou will be based in Exeter within the UK E&IA team and will have the opportunity to work on mandates throughout the UK and Europe.Responsibilities include:- Independently lead the execution of M&A transactions, equity/debt capital raises and other client engagements by project-managing the day-to-day activities and coordinating all parties involved
- Manage the relationship with existing clients as well as internal and external stakeholders
- Working with junior team members, prepare financial models and transaction documents (e.g. teaser, IM, Q&A, etc.) as well as client deliverables
- Proactively supporting E&IA team directors in pursuing new business development opportunities through the generation of client leads and preparation of pitches
- Lead the development of in-house financial models and undertake valuation assignments
- Manage junior team members on assignments
- Develop thought leadership materials and produce sector insights on the renewable market to build your brand
- Be involved in business development and sourcing of new opportunities
- Supporting the growth and development of the E&IA team through a variety of internal tasks

- Experience of managing a deal team
- Experience of producing high-quality documents using the full suite of Microsoft Office applications
- Demonstrable experience of developing and using complex financial/Excel models
- Knowledge of the UK renewable energy market
- A proactive attitude with a desire to improve and the ability to learn on the job
- Demonstrated ability to generate new business and build client relationships
- Ability to proactively overcome qualitative and quantitative challenges confidently
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to work in a team environment
- A strong appetite to pursue a leading career in the renewable energy and infrastructure space
- A Bachelors or equivalent university degree. A Masters or MBA will be positively valued
