Our Programme Management team have a new opportunity for a
Principal, Senior Consultant or
Consultant to focus on advising clients on establishing their programme management approach for large capital programmes within the energy & resources sector. The role is based from our London office, located next to Farringdon Station, with hybrid working allowing for a mix of home and in-office working.
You will work closely with clients and other stakeholders to implement best practice programme management and PMO processes across large capital programmes of work. You will work closely with stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into tangible ways of working across to support he delivery of capital programmes. We have a number of opportunities across our diverse client based to support with the implementation of new digital systems, manage the delivery of capital programmes, support clients implement collaborative working or redefining their cost and schedule management approach.
Dependant on level you will take a lead/supporting role in implementing ways of working and establishing new programmes bring industry best practice and innovation to generate efficiency. You will also be asked to help train and develop other members of our Programme Management teams as well as supporting client to grow their capability.
As a Principal/Senior Consultant within our Programme Management team, you will be at the forefront of connecting business strategy to deliver effective implementation of digital solutions across a variety of clients and programmes.
You will join a growing and collaborative team, working in partnership with a variety of clients to deliver innovative and sustainable projects to industry-wide efficiency and environmental challenges. This is an opportunity for you to play an important part in the UK energy transition.

About youAs an established Programme Management professional, you will have expertise in areas such as
- Benefits, cost/commercial management, schedule and risk management
- Performance reporting
- Project and programme management.
As well as demonstrable experience of selecting appropriate solutions and with hands-on consult/project delivery experience.
Being able to confident to confidently engage with stakeholders, effectively manage expectations and communicate data analysis to audiences across all levels of an organisation are important skills for this role.
You will have strong data analysis and presentation skills, a sharp attention to detail, and will be keen to learn and help build our overall capability.
You will be inquisitive, creative, and always looking for innovative ways to drive efficiency across processes as part of Stantec's commitment to continuous improvement.
