What the Job Involves The Principal Planning Policy Officer will support Enfield Council in advancing its Local Plan through the Examination in Public and beyond. Responsibilities include preparing technical evidence, supporting Statements of Common Ground, and liaising with stakeholders such as government agencies and the local community. You will lead the Council’s response and representation at the EiP, manage consultation processes, and ensure compliance with statutory and policy requirements. You will provide leadership within the Strategic Planning and Design team, guiding junior officers and ensuring planning policies align with Council objectives, ultimately delivering a framework for sustainable development in the borough.
