Job Description
The FP&A Director will be responsible for leading the Group FP&A team, ensuring the delivery and execution of FP&A activities including but not limited to Long Term Planning, Annual Budgeting, Forecasting, Standard Reporting, and other Business Support & Analysis activities to support the businesses reporting requirements. The position will drive performance and strategic decision-making by focusing on implementing standard processes, managing service levels, and delivering operational efficiency.

Key Accountabilities
Execute the long-term vision and strategy for FP&A:
- Drive value creation throughout the business by providing quality and insightful analysis.
- Lead the development & implementation of standard tools & processes to simplify operations and facilitate best practice sharing across the business.
- Partner and align key messaging, tasks, and insight with the broader FP&A team, including Sydney Group FP&A. Drive synergies between the teams.
- Lead the global long-term planning and budgeting process across the Group.
Lead business performance reporting for the Group including:
- Provide consolidated analytics, insights, gap analysis, and commentary for management reporting and to support delivery of BU and Group business targets/initiatives.
- As part of the review processes, challenge, question and validate insights through capturing risks and opportunities embedded in the business.
- Prepare monthly Board reporting (CFO financial update presentation and monthly management report) ensuring that it is of high quality, provides appropriate insights, and is delivered on time.
- Maintain the governance framework for the core suite of reports to drive standardization throughout the Group.
Lead short to medium term planning activities for the Group including:
- Lead Group quarterly forecast process.
- Provide consolidated analytics, insights, gap analysis, and commentary for the forecast and support delivery of BU and Group business targets/initiatives.
- As part of the forecast review processes, challenge, question & validate insights, and capture risks and opportunities embedded in the business.
- Prepare top down modelling for short and long term financial outcomes including sensitivity analysis.
Lead and performance manage the Group FP&A team:
- Manage the London FP&A team in terms of numbers, recruitment and retention, induction, performance management, career development, and succession planning, including organizing (in conjunction with HR) the ongoing training/coaching program for FP&A globally.
Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or in a relevant technical discipline.
- 10 years+ of Finance experience preferably for complex multinational businesses, with business partnering, Finance or FP&A expertise.
- Experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics or FMCGs a plus.
- The ideal candidate will have experience working with a variety of organizations and understand and appreciate the organizational, cultural, and economic nuances of doing business on a global scale.
